Resources for Colleges and Universities

This page provides a more advanced description of streams and water quality. The resources are for both college and university professors and students. Below are links to descriptions of streams, watersheds, and hydrology related topics. Also included are links to information on water quality parameters and tests.

The Globe Program, University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, Colorado State University, NASA, National Science Foundation, and US Department of State - Includes a curriculum for general environmental issues like hydrology, land cover, and GPS investigations.

River Network - This includes resources such as the E-stream monthly newsletter, resource library (which includes downloadable monthly monitoring spreadsheets, stream assessments, protection and restoration information), and a directory of river groups.

Water Quality Information Center, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - Database resource for many different water related topics.
